Dan Rosenblatt served as Executive Director of the International Association of Chiefs of Police from 1986-2011. He oversaw their staff of more than 120 who served more than 20,000 members representing more than 100 countries.

His career included serving in the U.S. Department of Justice, press secretary of a U.S. Congressman, and spokesman for the Watergate Special
Prosecution Force.

Dan also is a past president of the National Organization for Victim Assistance and a 20-year board member of the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial Fund. He has also served on a variety of local boards and advisory groups providing counsel to police agencies, prosecutor’s offices and business organizations.

His work has been recognized by a wide variety of public and private organizations including the U.S. Departments of Justice and Homeland Security, along with the Target Corporation, Special Olympics International and the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation.

Mr. Rosenblatt currently is managing partner at Lee, McMahon & Rosenblatt, LLC, an international consulting group that provides services and strategies to police agencies and the communities they serve.
He and his wife, Lonie Hassel, live in Alexandria, Virginia and have two daughters, a son-in-law and a magnificent Golden Retriever named Chief who is a descendant of one of the first bat dogs employed in professional baseball.
