Our first Vetbaseball “Experience” of the 2019 season was April 3, 2019. The Veterans Club of Kings Point, Tamarac, more than 118 members strong, were whisked away from their club house to Marlins Park, in West Star 57 passenger luxury bus. Yes, there were too many Mets fans, but we let that slip, and they did win, but we’ll see those Mets again, and we’ll see the other 50+ members of the Kings Point Veterans Club later this season.
Special acknowledgement to WWII Veteran Elliott Waxman, he may be the oldest veteran we have escorted to a game in our young two season history. Elliott, thank you for your service, your friendship, and letting us hear about your life.
